Gen Zers born between 1995 and 2012 are adopting AI at work and helping older colleagues embrace it too, according to a new poll. September 12, 2025 - By Kristian Jacobs

You’ve no doubt heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day, whether it takes the form of avocado toast, a plate of eggs, a buttered bagel, or a handful of Cheerios snatched from the cereal box as you’re sprinting out the door. But what if your stomach doesn’t seem to have gotten the message that it’s time to eat? Many people face that dilemma, Lizzy Pope, PhD, RD, an associate professor and director of the undergraduate dietetics program at the University of Vermont, tells SELF. “It’s not abnormal or unique to not feel hungry in the morning,” she…

9 Foods You Might Think Are High in Protein but Actually Aren’t

    September 12, 2025 - By Kristian Jacobs

Cracking open a hard-boiled egg for breakfast and moving on with your morning is tempting, especially if you’re tight on time, but doing so will probably leave you hungry sooner than you’d like. That doesn’t mean that you have to forgo them, though. Instead, keep eggs handy for high-protein snacking, or pair them with another protein source for a complete meal. That could be two scrambled eggs with a quarter cup of Greek yogurt—which will add a couple grams and make them fluffier. Or add a poached egg to a salad that also has edamame, cheese, and beans, three other…

350-year-old mummified head from Bolivia isn’t what it seems

    September 12, 2025 - By Kristian Jacobs

An unusual mummified head discovered in Bolivia more than a century ago isn’t what it seems, a new study finds. Originally thought to be the remains of an Inca man, the mummified head is actually from someone from a different culture who had incisions cut into their skull, possibly as part of a ritual, the research reveals. The new analysis is an attempt to place the individual in their archaeological context and to “give them back their local history,” according to the researchers. You may like “These remains are not just bones in an anthropological collection,” museologist and art historian…

The 8 Best Exercise Dresses of 2025, Tested By a Tennis Player

    September 12, 2025 - By Kristian Jacobs

When the exercise dress finally went mainstream (beyond court sports and golf courses), I made it my mission to try as many as possible — in the name of journalism, of course. As both a tennis player and personal trainer, I’ve turned wearing exercise dresses into a sport of its own, testing the best styles for whatever workout or activity my busy schedule throws my way. From pickleball to Pilates, running to strength training, I truly always dress for success (pun intended!). The best athletic dresses should be just as sweat-wicking as your go-to leggings, come with built-in shorts (complete…
